Hi,just going through warranty process today(Dell 2405),phoned Dell up etc.Should get relacement monitor tomorrow. If i have a working monitor, will post more info tomorrow.

Cheers BOB
Hi,guy turned up in a small white van(no name on it).I had boxed 2405 back up in original box.But he said it had to go back in the box the one he brought was in(barcode or whatever).
He had bought a 2407(not HC version).Sept2006,but was in immaculate condition, looked hardly used, like new.Best thing i found out afterwards(did a bit of research),was it is a Rev A04.To be honest a lot of peeps would rather have this at mo,than a 2408.For one thing it as a lot lower Input Lag.
2408 as add a revision, supposidly mid july.So probs might be resolved if you are certain to get one of these(old, exsisting stock etc,to beware of).
If you look on Dell & other forums, you will see a lot of peeps who have these monitors are very picky/perfectionists etc(not like if it was a TN type). So alot get sent back, some even without opening the box(if they see Rev No etc). Most peeps would be well satisfied & prob notice nothing(see reviews on ).Think if your not satisfied you can swap, get your money back,if within 30days(could be just purchased from Dell,or USA,not sure).
Stunning monitor.Touch wood, all OK & no dead pixels.

Cheers BOB
