For a £100 more you can get a 1080p tv, which will blow this monitor away.

specs wise its really good monitor but for that price i would rather get a decent big LCD tv (hannspree) and pay less :whistling:

There’s always one, or two in this case; it’s a bloomin’ monitor not a TV.

No, that's why you should do a search before posting a deal - HUKD.

Hi,even if deal poster found deal 2 weeks back(thats a eternity of deals ojn here),he did right posting it again. Its not a competition,or is it?Deals come & go,expire then come up again etc etc etc..Theres that many deals come up on this site, only peeps who prob don't miss anything,is those never off the site(& they can't remember every one). What you want to buy can change from day to day, even if something is not at the top of your list one day,it might be the next, you could buy it if the price is right etc.Its as much a browsing site i would have thought, not a shopping search engine site?(mind thats good as well,if your after a specific item.If the search goes well, searching don't always find you what your after,if the exact words are not chosen etc)..

Cheers BOB

ps which do you think makes peeps miss deals more, double posting deals or game playing?(then expiring, going cold or whatever, which happens).

ps tell me how many pages back,it was last posted, never mind deals back?

Thanks to the original poster for posting this. I'd been looking for a monitor like this for some time. It arrived Tuesday and I am absolutely chuffed. This is the dog's dangly bits!

I bought one of the LG HD/DVD blu-ray combo drives and bam, I've got full HD on the 'puter to watch all the cheap-o HD-DVDs I've been buying.

The default brightness is set to 50 on arrival - it was so bright it hurt my eyes. It's down to 20 now.

It's got a bazillion ports (including DisplayPort) so is future proof for a while. And the quality is high - it feels better quality than my last monitor.
