Cheapest by far I've seen this ever available. I suspect it's the 1st edition rather than the R2
Processor Intel® Core™ 2 Duo SU7300(1.3GHz,800MHz,3MB)
Operating System Genuine Windows® 7 Home Premium 64-Bit
Display 29.5cm (11.6") WideHD 1366x768 (720p) LCD
Memory1 4GB1 Dual Channel DDR3 SDRAM at 800MHz
Hard Drive 500GB2 SATA hard drive (7200RPM)
Warranty 1Yr Next Day Hardware Support included with your PC
Advertised System Weight 4.39 lbs.

Note it expires 15th June (today)!

Would snap one up if I hadn't already bought one back in september last year! Though at this price tempting to buy a second one!!!

If quico tracks, you should get around £49.90 cashback (10% for Alienware, expires in 4 days) bringing it down to under £450.

Also if you buy two of these or pad the order out to over £600, you should be able to use the 12% off every voucher. (Bringing it down to £439 per unit, though you may have less chance to get the cashback too!).

Good price, but Intel® Core™ 2 Duo SU7300(1.3GHz,800MHz,3MB) = Old hat technology.

...voted hot anyway.

Had some cash burning a hole in my pocket. If it can kick out Steam at a decent resolution I'm a happy man.

Here we go again....

Anyone remember the last time this was posted? God the AW fanboys had a field day...

If you're spending this kinda cash, buy NEW TECHNOLOGY. it makes so much more sense.

Apple's architecture and OS maximise the C2D processors to it's full potential thats why.

My MB with a 2ghz C2D c.1997 outperforms my newly acquired i3 W7 notebook performance wise.

But then you have to cripple it by running windows on parallels on top of it to actually do anything useful....

Well, it must also be a time machine, if you think the c2d even existed in 1997.... seriously, if you think anything from 1997 IT wise outperforms a brand new anything, you are seriously misguided.

Re Rewind94

Re ASUS K52F-EX962V
Graphics
GPU: Intel GMA HD
Memory: Shared
Type: Integrated

Yeah, you really are clever, You suggested a garbage 15 inch unit, with intergrated GFX and what, you think your post has any value, reason, logic or intelligence? Please, when you know nothing, and all you post is complete garbage, I suggest you just don't post.

Apple’s architecture is the same as for Windows PCs so not sure what you refer to!

It certainly won’t if you are doing demanding tasks as there is only so much pixie dust that Job’s mob can vomit (in a magical way) on every Mac to make them (appear) faster. Try running a demanding task and see how that compares.

No it won't you troll! Integrated graphics will get you nowhere when gaming even the latest Intel 3000 on the 2nd Gen Sandybridge Cores can barely cope with low settings on games.

So if you think an Intel GMA will trounce a GT335M you are an absolute idiot.

Check out http://www.notebookcheck.net/Computer-Games-on-Laptop-Graphic-Cards.13849.0.html for GMA and http://www.notebookcheck.net/Computer-Games-on-Laptop-Graphic-Cards.13849.0.html for GT335M

Now get your facts right before you wade into Geek Town at Noon!

Haha well said, plus lugging a 15" brick around vs an 11" laptop if flying away on a business trip or similar isn't going to be very fun!
