Well before 10AM go to the deal and configure it how you want it, and be at the checkout screen, then with the code copied and pasted hit the apply code button at exactly 10AM ( you may want to keep trying it just from around 9:59am).
The base model has NO WIFI so you will need to add that at £35.25 if you need it. Other options are larger battery at £11.75 and a DVDRW at £35.25 BUT adding ALL these options puts the price up to a non bargain as 305-N01136 has both the dvdrw and wifi plus its got 1gig ram for £379. So IMO this is only a bargain buy if you can take it as it is with no upgrades except maybe WIFI.

up the ram for a tenner (which I'll get back via quidco) and will probably get around £300 after fees & postage brakedown.

£50 profit better than nowt

nice deal if you want to buy it for the kids or amateur user but if you want this to perform tasks day to day I wouldnt get one. The machine feels like a toy above all.

good price for the technology though.
#12
Excellent price :) Hope there are more than 50 who get one ;-) Thanks Mike!
#13
Is the Inspiron 1300(N01135) better?

It has 512 memory and Wi-fi

wouldn't it be better to let people who actually want a really budget machine to try and get one (especially with such limited stock) rather than buying to fleabay it ??

Well goldmercury probably isn't the only one who has bought one to sell. But it was a bit crass to leave a post like that announcing it.

Anyway, he'll get a shock with his 10p listing day Thursday.

Keep checking back, Mike often has the exclusive Dell offers in hand and these usually begin at 10am [going from past experience ;-)].
#23

You might as well go to PC world and get their £299 laptop - it's a better spec than the Dell one at a very similar price (includes a dvd-rw, bigger screen, etc!)
#26
Thank you for the post. After reading some of the comments, i would like to add i am extremely happy to have this laptop - got mine this morning for personal use through this offer. It is a great price, however basic, it certainly helps to save some pennies and to get a machine that can do what i want it to. Why spend a fortune on a laptop when you dont need to? The extra money can come in useful elsewhere and perhaps help needy families abroad rather than sit on my desk in lumps of plastic and microchips doing nothing. I am very grateful to Mike the poster. Much appreciated.

That would be the case but they have no stock at any branches or online from what i can see. Am a new member and would like to say a big thank you, ideal for my daughter for school.

It looks very much like this offer is being run again today Thursday 28th Dec as Dell have failed to take the offer off its site.
In the past its always removed the offer overnight so I have to assume that its going ahead still.
I wont be around at 10am to find out but I suggest you do as detailed in the offer and stand by if you want one of these but dont shoot the messenger if it doesnt happen!
#29
went through the deal to check it out but says £60 delivery. they gotta be joking.

#31
