Good price... was considering it but it has some mixed reviews

Dell reviews

The connecting problem mentioned in the reviews was the same problem I was having with a Microsoft Bluetooth set. I think it is Windows that is the problem as the same set used on my Mac works fine.

We have two of these in our house, and I have given two to people as presents, and they are all superb. The BT connection eliminates the need for wires, dongles or drivers. I don't even use all five buttons but the scrolling and the 'back' button under the thumb make browsing immensely easier. Their power-saving features are brilliant - batteries last ages. They're excellent with BT-enabled laptops where they replace annoying or small trackpads Just spent a few days with friends who have laptops but none of these mice - am buying two and sending them as thank you presents. Thanks OP!

can you configure the 2 side buttons? and also is the 5th button the wheel?

Thanks.

Awesome mouse. Have two no probs with either.

For those who don't mind using ebay, it's being sold on there for £12.99 delivered

I've had one for a while now - works great and the battery lasts for ages.

Seems to work better with other laptops instead of my Dell !

Quite often asks me to enter the pin to connect 0000. Never have this problem on my Netbooks (non dell)

Love the mouse, doesn't feel as solid as a Logitech but they're double the price

Hot from me :)

And on Linux works perfectly out of the box. If you haven't got Bluetooth in your desktop/laptop then buy one of those micro USB adaptors for about £3 from DealExtreme. This mouse with the adaptor I bought gives a great range - I controlled a slide show from about 10 metres away.

No it is just the mouse you need to have bluetooth or supply your own dongle.

Having a look at the specs for the Ebay ersion, it suggests it doesn't come with a receiver? Whilst that might be an extra cost, you can buy one of the Deal Extreme low profile ones.

I have one of these - connected to a joggler running Ubuntu - excellent mouse!

Does this work with Windows 7 ?
#14
This is just the mouse, it worked very well with my Windows 7 Compaq netbook that had bluetooth built in, you can just use standard Windows drivers with it as well.
