how many sheets does one toner cartridge print?

Probably just a lexmark rebranded as dell like all the other dell printers. If that's the case, lexmark's business model seems to be sell em cheap, make em pay to run them.

They sell some dell compatible toner refills here pretty cheap. Not sure if they are compatible with this model tho.

will check your a diamond

No thankyou, I will not be ordering from Dell since they messed up the Hard Disk drive offer, how can these companies do this and get away with it. :x Dell is just another comapny like Littlewoods, Woolworths etc etc. who advertise something very very cheap, take payment then decline to deliver and eventually gives you refund and keep your details on their systems for future junk mail and other marketing junk. So I will not be wasting my time anymore ordering stuff which we will never see.
#16
lol... rant over?
#17
do you thinks it's worth buying for home and personal use or do you suggest any1 suggest I buy a £40 black and white printer samsung laser printer of somewhere like ebuyer?
#18
What's the cost of refills on this?
#19
see first page
#20
Toner for \colour lasers is always pricey. My Samsung costs me nigh on £200 for compatibles.
#21
Sweet - ordered!

We have got Dell Colour Lasers at work, although not this model. They came free from Dell, when Dell were first introducing their Colour Laser range, based on the volume of orders that we made over a short period of time.

Our IT department have refused to support them any further and once all the consumables that they bought have gone, or if they break again then they will be in the skip. They are unfortunately just too pricey to keep going.

They have not been hugely reliable and most of the lids are wedged in the closed position as the catches have snapped with all the constant opening for paper jams etc.

Shame really as the quality of the printing is really good.

This one is not for me I am afraid.

Id say a mono laser is fine for home use. Cheapo samsung i have has been great plus toner refills for it are under a tenner. Seems colour toners refills r more expensive for this baby :(
#24
Might as well sell the laser printer when the toner runs out and just buy a new laser printer. Works out cheaper that way!
#25
New laser printers come with only about 1/3 filled toner containers.
I have used two Sumsung mono laser printers for over 6 years and would not go back to colour inkjet.

what do you use for colour???
