£400 for a 22 inch screen is a rip off. This is a normal Dell 22" surrounded with some gimmicky stuff and they say £800 LOL

Mike this was always going to fail on a forum full of people wanting the cheapest nastiest tat they can get for their money. I voted hot though tbh I prefer the Samsung SM2433BW I bought from CDiscount the other day for £210 :) Nice monitor though and it would look absolutely fantastic on anyone's desk.

Think Dell is trying to justify the high price by the design rather than just a typical looking mass produced lcd screen. I suppose if you are looking for a good screen in an artistic form, then this is a good deal?

Sorry thats not fair is it, I admit this is a lovely looking piece of kit, but it was massively overpriced for £800, and still is for £400 - regardless of its looks.

Value is relative. To me, yes it is overpriced at the current price but it's a nice looking monitor which for some people may be worth £400

Value is relative I agree with you, but relative to what? The performance, size or a bit of perspex/glass being glued on the front and a camera tripod on the bottom?
Yes, I do like it alot, but for the price Id rather spend the money on size, like this 28" one.. and youll still have £70 in your sky rocket
