Old laptop but good price for a high quality 12" laptop. Only concern would be the battery life...
According to Crucial UK it can handle a maximum of 2GB (2 x 1GB DIMM) - I'll add in the link when I'm back online.

I've had one of these for years, great little thing, only weighs 1.2 or 1.4 KG, I forget which, can chuck it in my bag and not worry about scratching my shiny new surface.

Has everything I need although sometimes you notice the older CPU on more intensive stuff.

Battery life on a new battery is about 3-4 hours, that's what I was getting then it will just slow down one day. I ended up getting a new one off ebay for £17 and the same thing happened but i got about 18 months out of each battery at 3-4 hours.

The first battery i now get about 45 mins out of and the second about 2 hours, depending what I'm doing.

Think it doesn't help i you leave it plugged in once charged, if you take it off once done and run it right down again before a recharge you should preserve the 3-4 hours.

I know it is on the web site, but there is no such thing as a Centrino CPU.

I think this has a Intel Pentium M 760 CPU.

Note there is no CD or DVD drive included.
clearly states no cd/dvd drive
centrino is basically meaningless anyway no wonder they dont list it right
