mike (anyone else!)

any idea when the 'free' vista u/grade will expire or indeed if the system prices will get hiked when Vista is the default O.S? (specifically for Vista Premium which I will need)

p.s. anyone else having problems ordering this, i get a web-site error when i go to pay!

++ keep up the good deals!

cheers, dan
The free upgrade with paid postage costs will expire once they ship systems with vista, I guess that will be Jan 07.
Prices shouldnt get hiked because of it.
Dell are having web site problems this morning, so maybe thats why they dont want your money Dan!
Try later as its a weekly offer so I dont expect it to dissapear quickly.
If the website is erroring best wait anyway as Quidco may not track right if thats the case.
Its a shame that the free 2Gb RAM upgrade offer is no longer there, but otherwise the same deal as previously. From what I can see this comes with 2 x 512Mb sticks of RAM with another two empty slots. Could one just put in a single extra 1Gb stick if one chooses and how easy would that be in this model for the not very techno savvy ?
