I'd be wary of ordering from Dell Outlet, the only 2 machines I have had from there both had to go back, I mean you expect the odd blemish on a second hand refurb but both ones i got looked like midgets had been ice skating on the lids!

i'm on my dell refurb from a few yrs ago now, brilliant machine for the money i paid and had no problems at all. would not hesitate to order again ;)

Good prices! Hot from me.

How does this compare to the Toshibas posted at 260 inc vat?

I purchased a Dell N5010/15R a month or so ago. For the price it is a very good piece of kit, but it does feel cheap and plasticky. In my opinion the body does not do justice to the components and I have doubt over how long it will last before bits start falling off. The socket where the power connector attaches for example is very loose.

But hey, at £300 it's not expected to be bullet proof.

The graphics should be a Radeon HD 5650 as well. :)

You think it's not a good deal even with integrated graphics?
Show me an equal or better one. ;-)

The i7-740QM doesn’t support integrated graphics at all so it will be a discrete card of some kind. From what I’ve read elsewhere this spec seems to come with the HD 5650 every time so the odds look good but not guaranteed.

I would expect it to have Bluetooth and WiFi N as well. :)

Why has this deal expired ?
#36
Still works for me, don't know why it says expired :S
#37
Some great deals were to be had yesterday with free delivery BUT then typical Dell trick, in the eveving they jack up prices by £25 !!!!

Wait for a couple of days for pricing to come back down.

I've noticed that, too.

Re. expiry, there are none left at the price I posted, although that was a "from" price.

About 5 left at the moment costing "from" about £326 (inc VAT). Lots of memory and big disks but don't forget we're still talking refurbs here.

just had one of these delivered from dell and the mouse pad does not work hence the reason this was probably returned to them in the first place am not happy at all
