I've tried the first one, but it's still coming up over £320. Any ideas on how to get it working, and does anyone know what the first model is like?

You need to select this in the options: Collect & Return, 90 Day Service only [Included in Price]

Thanks for the post by the way wizmark :)

You MUST get the 6 cell battery for another £17 - comes in at £310.

Seems very good imho:thumbsup:

Has anyone got the first one (N01135)? I'm considering getting it, but just a bit wary of the price:)

I have a couple of 1300's here, one my eldest daughter uses and she wont swop it. Basic sturdy laptops, though I would recommend paying another £50 and getting an extra 512meg ram plus more drive space and a dvdrw. Even a free carry bag too

So a good decent laptop for basic internet surfing, msn etc? Also do you reckon it would run Football Manager okay?

I bought one last february when they were on offer for £299. Bought some extra memory from lowest on the web, upgraded the battery & am still very happy with it.
The Battery failed after 6 months (out of the 90 day collect & return). This wasn't a problem, Dell sent me a brand new battery free of charge, no postage & I didn't have to return the old one.

Well the basic celeron 1.6 with 1gig of ram will play far cry with minimal eye candy so if football manager is less intense than that I would say it will be fine .
