Just wondering why people are down voting this, is the spec not worth the price tag or something else?

At this price it should at the very least have a 960m and bear in mind that 1050 cards are going to start showing up around March and they are reported to be almost as good as if not slightly better than a 970m. My advice on anyone considering buying this sort of laptop is unless its a steal (which this isn't) or you can't wait, I would hold off buying such a machine a few months.

It's average price for what it is, last gen graphics and cpu. It's not terrible but it isn't a deal.

I had been contemplating purchasing this laptop on buy now pay later deal over the holidays. Seems the general thoughts are wait a bit longer and better deals will be available for better spec at this kind of price tag!

You can keep waiting all your life for a better deal!

I personally consider this to be pretty decent and I have been considering this for the past week to be honest as the size is a lot smaller than most 15 inchers due to the small bezel.

7th gen cpu, graphics sure but still should be enough for few years unless you intend always playing the latest releases as they come out in which you wouldn't consider anything less than the latest graphics card as well.

If someone would show a better deal for the same thing (considering size etc) then please do. easy to say this isn't a deal but when nothing else is currently available. I could be wrong if there is something better but I can't find it.

To be fair at the moment you wont get a 7th gen and 10 series gpu at this price. That said, this uses a low end version of the 9 series GPU and a U series dual core CPU so I dont think it is that gaming futureproof unless you really mean light gaming. For that price if I wanted a more gaming focused laptop and cared less about battery life I'd go for something like this: Acer Aspire V Nitro VN7-592G . Quad core and the somewhat better 960m. Or save yourself some money and go for the ASUS K501UQ-DM050T, there are probably better deals out there too but does highlight other options.
