people complained about the screen and I've got one and don't think it's too bad. however feel announced new ones will come with a better quality ips screen. make sure you confirm before buying though

Thanks for the info as I'd missed the announcement. As far as I can tell, Dell are only offering the 1080p IPS screen upgrade (for $US 50) in the US so far. Hopefully we will get this coming to the UK shortly.

In retrospect, I bet Dell wished they had offered the 1080p IPS upgrade from the outset. The 4K IPS upgrade never made any sense with the 1050 GPU and universally bad reviews of the standard 1080p TN have probably put some people off buying Dell machines for life (although in fairness, others have done the same).

I bought this a couple of month ago for £940 and took it back after 3 days due to issues.

Its since been available for less then £900 via Dell with their stackable codes
