MikeT, I'm still looking for a good laptop deal. Good to see your back on form. I'm looking for one with a really good graphics card and decent processor so that I can play games but I think that I want it with XP as vista uses a lot of memory.

I think this deal has been available from before today ... as I've been phoned to arrange delivery..

Only upgrade I added was £10 to increase it to WXGA+ (1440x900)

Heat and rep ++

Cheers

Stormin Norm.

Thank you for this. :)

however I was hoping you will make my find a bit better or post a better option. Seems like this is the best at the moment.

Or your other "Dell Inspiron 6400" (without nVidia card and £80+ cheaper, am I missing something?)

I have another Vostro deal that has a slighty better cpu and is a little cheaper that I am about to post.

Dont rush me, theres a lot to look through ;-)

Hey MikeT, good job as usual. I've been a regular follower of your posts and now need a laptop in next week or so. Is it better to go for the Vostro series as they seem better value or go for the Inspiron series eg 1521? Looks matter to me so a link for pics to both would be greatly appreciated from anyone. :-D I would love a laptop with 2ghz, 160gb and graphics card for under £500 if poss. :whistling:

Thanks again MikeT and keep up the good work matey. :thumbsup:

Vostro tends to look to be better value and nicer in build.

Wait till the next update day on 15th Nov and maybe Santa dell will bring your wish...dont go holding your breath though as he's been a bit mean of late.

Thanks MikeT, I'll be waiting with everything crossed. :santa: Has anyone taken pics of their own laptops which they can post? Are there pics of both systems on your blog MikeT?

Thans Mike for your efforts - always helpful.

Are there any 17" screen deals this week of note? I missed the last one end of October but am looking for something soon; Will wait till next week for more deals posted.
