Only £428 on the dell webiste, but that comes with the higher spec 370m 2.4ghz processor rather than the 330m which is 2.13ghz... so god knows where the original price of £549 comes from... Very Misleading....

Does the difference in processor make that much real-world difference? Suppose it depends on how many people are bothered about the extra £30 odd and also club card points :)

Only £399 on the Dell website for a Core i3-370m or £429 for a Core i3-380m:

You can get a far better deal from the dell outlet website for those that want to go via that route, I've seen the N5010 (15R?) i3 for £300 inc VAT and del.

The two processors are almost equal. Some benchmarks say that i3-370m is better some say that i3-380m. Advice for buyers: Buy the one which is cheaper ;)

Have seen these ones from the Dell Outlet site. Some are badly worn and one I saw even had food crumbs in the keyboard. I suppose you take your chances.

I got a 15R with Core i3-370m for £280 delivered last week - in perfect condition other than a tiny stuck sub-pixel on the screen - only noticeable on a black screen.

The ones that are worn are 'scratch and dent' ones, as long as you don't buy them you are fine. I've bought mine from outlet and they are NEW.

I think thats the reason why some people complain, they don't read the condition properly.

TBH. I bought a scratch and dent and it was 'new' It was a refurbished one that was mucky. Not all I have seen were this way though, so... Like I say... You takes your chances...
