Wow, cheers Mike. It comes out as £578.55 for me with the keyboard upgrade. Have I missed something do you think?

And, stupid question I know... but this is wireless enabled isn't it?

tom there is delivery to add to your price.

Wifi card is extra £30 from dell, I would get your own solution cheaper later.

I might just go for this MikeT with the 23 inch monitor. Can anyone point me in the direction of a cheaper wireless thing that will make this, well, wireless?

Every time there is a system listed on here someone will come out with this quote. And this time (as usual) it doesn't add up.

A quick trawl through Ebuyer gets me the components for £460, the screen will cost about £110 and I haven't even bothered looking up the cost of MS Windows 7. You might be able to save a little bit by shopping around for the components in different shops, but quite frankly it's not worth it.

Great deal if you're in the market.

I added a few bits and bobs so that I could use the 10% off voucher that MikeT posted but it still doesn't work? The 5% one does though.

Just letting you know you can probably get the money for the windows 7 License if you refuse to its licence agreement. That would make the whole deal 60-ish pounds less expensive!

why shop at ebuyer there over priced try black market or even usa imports or e-bay i saw
alienware spec pc double spec this pc posted here on e-bay that went for £180 just for spare parts
??

Not really a deal is it, a one off on Ebay. Which sounds to me like the owner is getting rid of it at a low price for a reason.

Were talking new here, and I totally agree with the other poster. These days its almost not worth building your own spec, even from someone who knows what parts and stuff to get. Unless your total hardcore, and very specific what you need.

Because you can buy systems for only a little bit more, and have the whole unit under warranty and coming generally with an OS system.

Good deal..............

Who would honestly reject Windows 7 for a Linux distribution? Geeks maybe, I know I wouldn't. I only use Ubuntu for a reason, it's free, if I'm told to pay/donate to help the cause, I wouldn't use it :x

But refunding Microsoft Works and PowerDVD sounds like a good idea. According to the article, I can get £80-ish back. Too bad I already accepted the licenses and can't be asked to call Dell, ask for a refund, send it back, wait for money blah blah.

Oh and good deal. I recently bought a 545 without a monitor, similar specs (HD 4350 and 640GB instead) for £479 at Dell.
