Must be direct with dell as the one below cost £415 On the dell outlet store and is relatively poorly spec'd compared with the eBay shop prices

No, they will buy in bulk direct from Dell which is why they get a good deal on the 3 year warranty.
If you buy from the Outlet site the 3 year warranty is expensive.

This isn't a hot deal, it's not a proper fully fledged quad core cpu, who knows, which cheap and nasty mobo is being used, and you will most likely need to upgrade the PSU if you wanted to upgrade to a juicier graphics card and finally AMD chipset memory controllers cannot utilize triple channel memory, so it should be dual channel, either 4 GB or 8 GB.
