Thanks for this.
Does it come with an exploding battery ?

Lol ok bad joke
The link comes up with the message "We're sorry, but we are unable to process your request to configure the identified product"
Is this an actual unique deal to this link, or is is one of the standard packages?
Wingnut, the deal button works fine for me 6.30am Friday, but if you cant get to it from there you can always use the ecode 307-N08645
Enter it just as is from dells front pages.
"We're sorry, but we are unable to process your request to configure the identified product"

When it says that, go first to the Dell website (i.e. enter it manually), then click on the link. The website has to set a session cookie before the system links work.
You know I've spent so many hours with Dell etc. trying to fix that problem. Bizarre. I guess they don't want people using direct ecode links. It'll actually work if you click the link twice too. Usually it gets the "technical error" page not the "unable to process" though.
1 click here... works fine
Many clicks and I can't get it to link... It's quite weird.
Yeah it works fine for me. Can you try going to dell manually in your browser emma and then try clicking on the link?
Nothing works. Maybe it's something to do with my cookies??? But some of the Dell links DO work for me.
Just noticed it works fine for me if I try it with Firefox, just not working through IE7.
The link works fine in IE for me too, but I have visited Dell over the last week.

As Admin mentions above, sometimes double clicking the link will cure the problem and take you to the deal.

Other than that, search by eValue Code: 307 [first box] N08645 [second box].
This is a really good laptop, very fast and portable.

Be aware that the 17" version, which costs a bit more, is *very* large and heavy...
Don't be tempted to pay a little extra and upgrade to that, unless you're intending
to have it sat on your desk all the time. You won't want to be carrying it around

(You should see the Dell carry case for the 17" version. It's like a heavy
duty reinforced backpack !)
The 17" are great screens for gaming or if your eyesight "isn't what it used to be"
