dont forget Quidco

Also probably worth the 9 cell battery for £23.50

How does this compare to the deals that have been floating about for the past couple of weeks?

The £327 one (£313 after Quidco) is an identical spec but has the Radeon 256MB Hypermemory Graphics and a bigger HD (80GB compared to this one's 60GB). So for that reason it's not a hottie.

recheck the processor on that £327 one, thats a AMD iirc, not an intel dual core...

This is a 6400 not a 1501 but it doesnt compare well to the extra £60 off Sb offer on N04642 for £410 you get 120gb hard drive and vista business with that one.

Oh yeah, so it is! Heehee, I bought this laptop and my PC over the past week or two and I'm getting the specs mixed up! :)

would it be better upgrading the processor or the memory? or should i buy the memory from somewhere else? is it worth upgrading the graphics also?

Just for those who think this is a Core 2 Duo it's not, its a Dual Core Pentium, but it isn't even a Core (1) Duo, to add that would be an upgrade, what you have here is one of the most basic dual core mobile processors that Intel produce, it is a dual core, but I guess they sell them cos people think its a core 2 and then think "WOW its cheap" but that cos its not.

Well pointed out but that's not to say the processor is a turkey, though probably worse than a Turion x2.

Guys, this is a core duo processor. Check a short review here http://intel-t2060.blogspot.com/
