There is a "Free" delivery offer half way down the page, but it's actually free delivery if you buy a laptop and an accessory, the cheapest of which is £25!

I'm feeling generous today, so I'm not going to vote cold, but unfortunately, with the cheapest "free delivery" item pushing the price up over £300, I think that there are probably better specced Dell Vostros around for the same or not much more money. That said, the Inspiron is (possibly - I'm more than prepared to be corrected) a better chasis, so this may be ok for some.

Might be worth changing the OP to £304.94 delivered with case and mouse.

Just had a nosey on the Dell website, and the replacement model for this is the Inspiron 1525 which starts at £329 delivered.

This is obviously a about £25 more expensie, without a case or mouse, but it has a slightly better processor (Celeron 540M), and the X3100 graphics which are (I think) a big improvement on the 950 in the 6400.

There is however, a delay for delivery of the 1525 from Dell.

Personally of the two, I'd go for the 1525 from Dell, but I appreciate that the 6400 is cheaper, and if you are on a budget, and really want a bag then it might be for you, just offering up an alternative!

I was thinking of getting an Acer Aspire from the same site. One is even £249 - which isn't bad. My only concern is the Vista Basic which I've been warned off by everyone that has it. Considering my Artwork software is from 2002. Should maybe sell the Vista on ebay and buy XP...
