Mike Thanks for all the dell deals u post i am quite an avid fan.

I missed the 410£ deal that u put last to last week and been waiting for some decent deals to come through from dell but the have dissapointed

Was looking for something below £500 With a core duo (intel) and at least 1gig RAM, and wanted to buy dell but ........... :-(

I dont want the free printer

I am new to UK and also to Laptop world (it would be my first laptop) so am a bit afraid of other brands (gateway, advent, pacard bell) and all the gud ones (HP, Sony, Viao) are too expensive for decent specs and DELL seemed to fit the bill but is not putting any decent deals out.

Should i wait more?

Dell had some cracking deals posted on here just a couple of weeks ago but under a strange set of circumstances my order did not get processed and when I queried it again, the deal had expired and they would not honour it. Im planning on waiting another week or two to see what comes up as the deals seem to compete very well with other brands.
