Best price they've ever been! Beats me why the 6400 is so popular, unless you want a graphics card the 640 is a far better all-rounder. The slightly smaller size makes all the difference.

I'd stick with XP to make best use of this though.

if you want a desktop replacement go for the 6400. i bought my 640m as a portable machine, but since my desktop computer broke, i've been finding that the 640m screen is a tad on the small size :-) HTH
