Bloody good deal Mike, looks as cheap as iv ever seen it, shame it is a 17", cant carry that around with me to Uni :(
You need one of these for uni, nice and light and small too :)
Thats a little too small, sine i need to do graphics work. 8)

Do you have any opinions on this laptop

I may order this one today, in thorey it shold run smooth for Adobe Photoshop / Illustrator work once i load it to a total of 1gb ram. What i like a lot about it thogh is that if i decide to sell it it wont lose its value too much ;-).
gd_miester, it looks a good deal, perhaps somewhere has one on display that you can go try?
I dont have personal experiance of Acer laptops so cant comment on how sturdy they are.

Good luck with whatever your final choice is:thumbsup:
