£146.86 if you remove the mouse. I have loads of mice.

(I should get a cat!) :whistling:

You cant get it past Dell without a mouse, check out how much it costs with a better cpu, Dell have chopped too much off for removing the monitor and it could make for a nice base with a bit of adjustment.

QUIDCO BACK TO SCHOOL BONUS until SEP 30th only : Dell is giving £10 cashback to any Quidco member who makes a purchase of £250 or more
#7
I'm assuming that would be £250 excl VAT?
[mod]#8

Just by taking off the monitor, the price drops to just £152.74 INCLUDING VAT and shipping... not £250! :)

That must make it a pretty hot deal, surely?

Edit: Sorry, just realised you are talking about the Quidco saving, and not the cost of the system itself!

I think you need to follow the thread, we are talking about the back to school £10 bonus, you need to spend £250 exc vat and del to qualify for it, so if you were loading this up by adding components or were buying more than one and got to over £250 you can get £10 extra off it.

They are talking about needing to be £250 exc VAT for extra quidco not for this system

Edit- Mike beat me lol

Sorry guys... as you can see by the times, I was editing my post at the same time as you were both pointing out the error to me.

Must write out 100 times... "Read previous posts carefully before replying".

How do you buy via Quidco as I don't know how to get the price unless I click the link at the top which wouldn't track in my Quidco I'm guessing?

Many thanks to Mike for this posting. I have ordered one but I could not resist upping the spec from the standard so have ended up paying quite a bit more but it still seems like a fantastic bargain.

Voted hot.

My OH is looking to buy a new computer as his old died. This looks like a good deal.

I don't know too much about computers but OH was told to get a pentium processor. Should I upgrade this one or doesn't it matter that much?

Computer will be used for broadcasting a live internet radio show. (OH is a DJ)
Have been using a 4 year old machine until recently.
Thank you!

The Dual core for £30 is a good buy. An extra £70 for a core duo 2Ghz is a bit harder to justify if all it's being used for is internet.

Wow, that was fast.

Ordered Friday, built and despatched on Saturday and delivery expected tomorrow (Tuesday).

Thanks to the OP for a great find and to Dell for quick service.
