not bad but for a 17" is that not a low resolution?

It's actually a decent res. A lot of lappy are coming with 1360x768 so 1600x900 is decent.

Heat added.

nope, it's an inbetween oddball resolution. HD is 1366x768 and fullHD is 1920 x 1080

on the cashback dell only gives on the amount before the vat add so if you got the core i5 laptop
after everything off would be about £484

Ooh good spot, definitely a better deal with the i5, extra GB of RAM and better gfx, although the trade off is a smaller screen with lower resolution.

Hmmm I don't agree - it's kind of cheap but for a little more you can get a lot more - the GPU is just poor and will effect the overall performance.

This smells like a PCworld eMachine - good for the un-educated.

Sorry voted cold.

for the uneducated the cheapest i3 at PCWorld is a 15" almost the same spec for £30 more

i ordered one of these of dell about a month ago and it was only £420, dell cancelled my order probably because they were about to put the price up, so i think it may well be worth it to wait until a week after easter and get it in a sale:thumbsup:
