This looks like a reasonable spec for the price. I'm in the market for a new laptop.

Can anyone recommend anything better for around this price?

This is possibly a great deal. The GPU is great but the processor is a bit of a dog's dinner. Not sure how much of a bottleneck this will be for playing modern games. Any idfeas?

Sounds a good spec but not sure about the athlon chip ?
Anyone know how fast this is in everyday use and maybe the odd game (without the techno babble oO )

Bluetooth and 4gb memory look good though.

thanks

Good price if you missed the tesco deal on same laptop

Yer, avoid if you expect to play modern games with this -> "The AMD Athlon II P320 is an entry level dual core processor for laptops. Compared to the faster Phenom II and Turion II processors of 2010, the Athlon II P320 features only a 64 Bit FPU (Floating Point Unit), and not 128 Bit as the Athlon II Desktop...

The performance of the Athlon P320 is somewhere between a 1.7 - 2.1 GHz Pentium processor with 1 MB Level 2 Cache (e.g., Passmark CPU scores are similar to a Intel Celeron T3100 with 1.9 GHz)."

modern games dont need more than this

Sound good then. So Crysis2 (for example) should run OK?

huh? although its a game the cpu speed can matter alot.
good example for comparisons is the 4650 card which this is based on
looking at the benchmarks with the same gpu an i7 gives almost twice the fps as a t4200 which this cpu is pretty similar to.
sometimes those benchmarks can be misleading but this is sort of outside the benchmarks as the graphics card isn't usually paired with such a slow processor so unexpected speeds could be obtained.
fyi i have a 4650 in my laptop with a faster t9600 processor and from memory i think it runs crysis ok at 720p (cant really remember the settings) but i certainly wasn't getting spectacular 60fps speeds so id be careful with this one.
especially as peoples expectations of visual effects being 'ok' vary wildly.
