ahhh now im currently on the looking out for a lappy for myself, I have been looking at the Dell currently on offer in Tesco, so (running the risk of appearing really thick lol) this appears to be a much better deal, given that the Tesco Dell is only 2 BG RAM 250??? Would really appreciate help? thanks x

Stacey, This will be more than enough for most home personal tasks. I am not that savvy either but would think this is a good deal. Screen size 15" is ideal IMO.

What's the catch?
Poor graphics capability, slowish hard disk drive.

Good deal but would be more of a goer for regular users if it was 32 not 64 bit. Too many problems with hardware/software compatabilty when I tried 64 bit on Windows 7 briefly. After three days I re-installed 32bit so everything would work again.

Just ordered one of these for the wife for Christmas. Hope she'll be pleased with it! She is into Facebook but thankfully not Bingo!! lol!
