Click personalise on the side, and it will ask you for any upgrades while you go throught a long list, if you keep them all as they are it will be £279 or add to basket and it will be that price

Its on the right hand side of the screen

Pretty poor build quality, recommend another manufacturer if you can afford it. Dell have poor sevice and have been unreliable in my experience.

The one posted earlier today was worth buying just to take it apart for new bits for my computer, but this is not worth it at all

This deal is a joke compared to the one briefly available this morning.

As is just about every PC deal ever posted here; that was a misprice.

Sorry for trying - won't bother again if this is the typical aggresive response
#12
this was showing at £700 after the misprice this morning so i thought that this was a fairly good price - obviously incorrect

How can you say this is a joke?
The other one was an incredible bargain at only £200, and clearly a misprice.
It's no wonder bargain nutter has got the hump with replies like yours.

thanks = it seems there are some reasonable people out there, other than the critical techno nerds

I'm sorry but after this mornings deal, this one looks very poor. Anyway I'm not the one responsible for the low vote score of this deal.

Not in my experience. Dell are very reliable and the build quality is very good.

I have the exact opposite experience. I've bought about 10 or 12 Dell machines over the past 5 years, for myself and family. I currently have 5 in operation in my house and they have all been excellent build quality. The only problem I've ever had (touch wood) was a defective monitor, which they replaced. All my base units have been great, and customer support has been pretty good on the few occasions I've needed to call them.

They may have improved things for the Zino range. I bought a laptop just over a year ago and the screen stopped working. I search online and its a common problem with Dells. I think they may be better with desktop machines then? For comparison, I've had Lenovo, Acer and Advent laptops that have worked for years.

I am no expert but would something like this be better value, (£240)? Its got the new dual core atom fitted along with the NVIDIA ION?
OK, its not got a DVD drive but external ones are dirt cheap these days, I use a USB stick these days for 90% of things anyway

I'm sure both are excellent under the TV for use as Media Centres.
I have the Revo above and it's great! Slightly faster processor than the Zino in this configuration, and the wireless keyboard and mouse that come with it are surprisingly usable. Even the mouse can be used with a knee as a mousemat haha. My revo 3610 even runs Modern Warfare 2 playably :) I have a few problems playing DTS sound across the HDMI connection, though this is fixable.

Just my 2p:thumbsup:
