After quidco it has cost me 595. You can built your own to your requirement (probably even less).

looks nice.

Sorry I can't tell which studio 15 deal you went for; maybe others can (I always find Dell sites impossible to decipher) :p

Seems an OK price given the backlit keyboard, blutooth and wireless n card added. Being used to the 1080p screen now I'd have added that ;-)
#4
I think you are meant to put the price before quidco.
#5
base is the 649 system i think
i added keyboard, wireless and bluetooth (bluetooth+keyboard not essensials imo id take 1080p and have a better system imo - opinion ofc) but am still 8 quid short of using the 10% code
tbh without the 1080p screen i dont think its great as its almost only reason id go with dell atm considering the low graphics card
maybe wrong base as would cost more after 6% quidco

Hi,
I have tried to ''Build your Own'' and then chose the second one priced for 649

Very nice system

I would suggesting paying extra and getting some warranty.

Having warranty with my XPS M1530 really paid off. Had problems after two and a half years and managed to get it replaced for a brand new alienware M15x (worth twice as much as I originally paid)!

again, you need to supply price before quidco
this system shows as 662 before quidco

Thanks for clearing up how you got to the price :)

...I have added Facial recognition software...

I hope it works well for you - normally after gurning for around 5-10 seconds I give up and grumpily start to type my password - at which point it logs me in. I've tried to beat the software by pretending to log in straight-away but it can tell when I'm pretending to be grumpy...

To be honest i have only added it to get 10% discount.

is it just me or is there no base 649 system when you click your link

Should be £679 - it's the second system - choose enogh extras to push the pre-discount price to £1000 and you can use the 10% off code.
Advance has cheekily added quidco savings to achieve the £595 price.

Seems a nice system; but I'm not sure how great a deal it is - Dell prices seem to change quite often and someone somewhere will always have found a better deal - but it's probably around the best for this spec at present.

the system was 649 they have changed it to 679 so this costs more now 690-quidco
at this level imo there are better systems - eg the 659 toshiba at ask
