Both are dual core, Core 2 Duo is faster though, for those looking to Hackintosh http://www.osxlatitude.com/ will be of help.
I'm not sure of OS X Lion has been hacked onto them yet, but you'd need a Core 2 Duo to even try, it won't work on the Core Duo range (same for actual Mac's)
Thats their generic claim across all grade B machines - I bought a ThinkPad X60s that came with an 8 cell battery and I can get 3 hours from it.

I would have gone for one of the many i5 deals on here since, if had waited though...
With T7200 it sounds like a great deal to me.

I'm sure you know, but Grade C are sold as 'non-working, for spares only'.

Yes. I understand that. I made the decision after seeing comments here from other people purchasing the grade C computers.

You're gonna need to spend some time and money on that machine to get it working 100%

Yeah, need to find a harddisk and a charger at least.

The laptop battery that comes with these machines are used. I think you are better to get a replacement battery instead.
That's bad luck :(
Mine came really well packaged but the battery was not working and only had 1Gb of RAM ( was supposed to have 2).
Rang their customer services, very apologetic and said they would send me a new battery and RAM.....a few days later both turned up well packaged again.
Excellent customer service in my opinion.
