You also need to select the "No security/anti virus protection" option for the lowest price. Don't worry, you can either download free security/anti virus programmes [perfectly adequate for the tasks] or use Windows software.

Great value and you can upgrade the memory easily at a later date...

QuidCo cashback is worth around £10 which is worth the cost of the 9 cell battery upgrade ;)

These are excellent value for money, I bought one when Dell were selling them for £299. Just the job for surfing the web, email and writing letters.

Agree with rayman aboput security software there is plently of free stuff that'll do the job and it's worth getting the battery upgrade - wish I had !

Only other recommendation I can make is it needs some extra memory (512Mb was about £25 from lowestonweb.com)

Neil

nearly bought this for my daughter as picked up the matching cabriofix car seat for £7.50, but really didn't like the plastic feel of it and ended up buying a metal framed pushchair/pram.
Excellent price tho if you can find them (my local didn't stock them when I was looking).

That's a twin pushchair. Still a good bargain though!

does this link not take anyone else to an expired Dell laptop link?
