XP Good! 3hr Battery pants!
Plenty of netbook offers around at the moment; I'd wait for something better - unless you dont need battery life.
Perfect for Hackintosh.

I'll wait till I start college to invest in a new netbook though. Heat added.
ayeee...pefect for hackintoshhh...and use it life a fisher-price MAC :)
Someones daft enough to have bought it.
I've got one of these as a Hackintosh, much lighter than my Macbook Pro and fine for emails, web and video. Really easy to hack (takes about 40 minutes to install Snow Leopard from scratch), and everything works- webcam, audio, sd reader etc, and the graphics card will just about manage to run an external screen at 1920 x 1080 (although H.264s are choppy at that rate).

The 3 hour battery life is no problem- simply pick up another battery from Ebay (they just slot in), or buy the six hour battery and stick it the original in your bag as a spare. I hacked mine before the 11" Macbook Air became available (I have a bad back, and a 17" Pro weighs a ton), and although I've rather have an Air, the 10v does most of what the Air does, but costs about a tenth of the the Apple version.

It also runs the full Snow Leopard OSX, as well as Flash (unlike the iPad)- I compared it to the iPad 1 we use at work, and it was miles more useable in almost every way. £110 is a bargain if you ask me, and the red one is actually really nice looking.
