In other words, £720 for a netbook and a 3GB cap. Cold.

nope £240 for a netbook if you do your math correctly, 3 gig cap on a network like vodafone stand alone is £15 a month for 3 gig cap which makes £10 extra for a netbook............ worth £299 RRP in no way is that COLD

this deal is cold, you could buy yourself a netbook for between £200 and £300 and then a proper broadband package for a lot less. I get 10megabit for £10 a month. and these 3g broadbands things are not up to much unless you live in a big city and if you do live in a big city just connect up to a hotspot. you might say it is for people on the move but they loose there connection too easily if your are on train or actually moving

£15 a month for the 3 gig usage package, so if this is £30 a month with 3 gig usage that's £15 a month over 24 months for the netbook, or £360. Considering you can buy it on it's own for £250 you're losing £110 rather than saving anything.

Actually, this netbook provided in this deal is a modified version of the normal machine in that it has the HSDPA modem built in so you don't need (and presumably don't get) a dongle but a £110 just for that is still a very high price.

The maths is simple. Cold. Still.
