Dell S2409W

Just a warning to those considering buying this. I got this the last time there was an offer on for £180, and while im very happy with it, it has an annoying hardware fault whereby if there is no sound on whatever you have connected (pc, ps3, freeview etc) and then sound occurs, it can take around 10 seconds for the sound to actually play as it gradually fades in.

I find this particularly unfortunate as i use it as a dedicated ps3 display so if i pause during guitar hero/rock band then resume playing theres no sound for a while! I dont think its so serious that it has an effect when you change viewing channels on freeview, or skip songs on a pc but never the less i felt i should warn those of you who could find this sort of thing annoying!

I have been looking at the S2309W for a while. Good quality screens even though they are TN Based (which all makes are at this price point anyway) cheapest price I have found by a long shot A saving of around £45 compared to elsewhere.

you need to buy from the home office (ie business bit of their site) , just pretend that you have a business name etc.
