I just noticed that Dell Outlet have a new £54.74 before VAT saving on all outlet systems.
To avail of this offer all you need to do is select your desired system, add it to your shopping cart, then tick the "SAVE £54.74" offer in the Software and Peripherals Section once you have added your system to the shopping cart ! It's that simple!

Remeber Dell Outlet updates the site continually so keep checking for bargains. I got a Vostro 1700 for £611 delivered with 8600GT graphics, T7500 processor and 2 120Gb hard drives.

You need to get something in your shopping basket in order to see the discount option. If the link dioesn't work just go to http://www.dell.co.uk/outlet.

Thanks for update. Not convinced that their refurbs are worth the price

Not all are refurbs. Most is unwanted stock or customer returns so I am told.
Usually warranty applies too.
Best bit is that as the machines are already manufactured there is no lead times.

How did you do that? I'm hankering after a new laptop now and that would be absolutely cracking. How does the 8600GT fare for gaming? Also what CPU did you chose?

Hey Hillfly, is it still possible to order a laptop of that spec for that price?

What would the 8600GT be like for gaming?
#9
Hillfly you are a star, I cannot afford it yet, but that dell outlet stuff there are definitely some bargains to be had.
heat and kudos.

My last two systems have been from the Dell outlet, I would highly recommend them. You have to look quite closely though as the specs vary quite widely. New stock is put on frequently so it's worth checking again if what you want isn't there the first time you look.

I actually got that machine for my bro in law and told him to cancel his existing order for the Vostro as it saved him about £60.:w00t:

I just kept having a look every now and then and that deal jumped out at me. I guess you have to get lucky to get a great bargain. The deals are constantly chagning. A fair few of those systems are cheaper from the sales section. Mind you that extra discount code does make it more competitive.

Don’t forget that delivery is £60 including VAT which is slightly less than the discount of £54.74 + VAT. The prices shown are excluding VAT also.
