Some not bad offers on the desktops but not so great on the lower end laptops.
#3

#4

Just ring the outlet sales team on the number at top of the outlet page after 9am and explain that the offer didnt remove delivery for you, they will remove it as they do all the paperwork manually there anyway.

Cheers Mike, sent them an e-mail with a screen print, but will give them a ring as well. So that will be 2 desktops and 2 laptops now and only 2 eyes and 2 hands!

There is a nice vistro 410 sitting on there Q6600 quad, 4gb of ram, 500gb hd and a 512mb 8800gt for about £445.

Four lenghty calls to SC (complete rubish in India, just ok in Ireland) and nearly three weeks to deliver my XPS 1530 laptop last time round. Thank you very much but by that time the price of new one droped a lot. Good that my sister wants it so there it goes...
:(
Not happy...

This effectively makes the displayed ex vat cost = delivered cost
(most accurate for stuff around the 400 mark)

Anyone got any thoughts on how this one looks? (Price is before £55 reduction.) Thanks in advance!

What's the returns policy with Dell Outlet?

Update: Got through to them on the phone, answer is "within 7 days".
#13
Dell customer service for returns is excellent.
I had a problem with my power lead, they sent another lead within a couple of days.
#14
The £55 discount also works on Latititude Notebooks.

Just sorted me a Dell Xps 420 with quad core cpu, 4gb ram, 500gb HD, GeForce 9800GF for £415 delivered.

Bargain :-D

Best Latitude I can see is Lat D630 (System Identifier. FX87BKED) - £440 Delivered. If this includes 3-Year Standard Warranty, it is a real steal. Too bad for me, I just bought XPS M1330 in the previous outlet deal.

Won't you lose Quidco if you complete a deal on the phone though?

Just to report back. Some very nice but very loud Irish lady phoned to tell me to tell me they have refunded the postage costs and would be despatched early next week so should receive it by the end of next week.

They update all the time. But from past experience and other peoples comments they seem to do the main updates between 3am and 6am.
Ordered a Inspiron 1735 at 4am this morning saving me around £400 off list price.

Thanks Matt. I've been looking for a while and this looked the best on offer, but I'm not an expert and the Outlet is a bit confusing. I guess if a better deal comes up again I could cancel this, or is this worth sticking with?

Depends if you need a powerful gfx card or not - will you be gaming on it?
#30
My PC arrived damaged, after 1 phone call 5 days later a brand new build arrived as they did not have the same spec available

They even threw in a cordless mouse for free as a gift

Don't intend to use if for gaming but do need to edit lots of video. I'm also keen to make sure I've got a bargain!

Hi, you should be able to get a better price.

If it's a laptop you need definetely go with that model you've picked i.e. the Studio 1535. It's got quite a good ATI graphics card and it looks good.

Pick one of those models with a lower hard drive and lower RAM, you are cheaper to upgrade it after market if you need to i.e. buying it from somewhere else and installing it yourself.

I've got the one you picked in my basket just now but with 3GB RAM and 250gb hard drice for £368 delivered. It's a good enough price, but if you are patient i'm sure you could find it for lower.

How long do they take to process the order? I'm waiting for email confirmation 24 hours later?
#37
Got an order e-mail within minutes at 00:45 last night with "Dell outlet order confirmation" in the subject title.
It then says in the e-mail they will send you notification by post too within 3 days and you should have your order within 5 days.

I found the number of available products jumped up about 00:30
Did last night and I grabbed a lappy like the couple above but with 2Gb of ram for about £330 delivered.

Going to be an expensive week for me - new laptop & NFL at wembley next sunday = big dent in student loan.

same trouble last time the deal was on 2 weeks ago see:
http://www.hotukdeals.com/item/248599/free-delivery-and-55-off-dell-inspi/showthread.php?t=248599&page=23

best option is to ring CS & select refurb option, unless you have your customer order & id number then you can track it online www.dell.co.uk/orderstatus

0844 444 5219 (9.00am to 1.00pm and 2pm to 4pm Monday to Friday)

When you get through choose option 1 for sales and not the option to query an existing order as that will put you through to the main Dell phone lines and they can’t help with Outlet orders at this stage.
