I got one of these a while back. Quick delivery, no other problems etc.
The one I received suffers from (none IPS) light bleed in the bottom 15% left corner. Quite noticeable on dark background in a light room. For the price I've kept it, but I make a guess that a Dell customer returned it for thus or it failed QC.

Oh, that is enough to prevent me buying one, that would bother me too much..shame because they look pretty good!

The one I received last time this was posted has no notable light bleed so i guess it is luck of the draw.

I bought a P2414H a while back which had exactly the same problem - NRG swapped it out with absolutely no hassle, they even did an on-the-spot swap (didn't require the original to be returned before sending out a replacement), and they assured me if I still wasn't happy there would be no problem with me sending it back for a refund. The replacement was much much better, although still not quite perfect (low-cost IPS panels rarely are, regardless of the model).

The severity of backlight bleed is entirely down to luck of the draw, as someone said above, unless you want to shell out for a top-end monitor where presumably QC is tighter. However, if you want the benefits of an IPS panel at low cost, in my experience these guys will give you the best bang for the buck currently available. :)

I have bought 6 of these so far and been running them for over 6 months, with no problems at all. NRG are great to deal with as well.

Obviously even if you were to buy them new from Dell, some of them would have issues, so as far as I can tell, it is just a big saving on excellent monitors.
