This Dell SE198WFP 19" TFT monitor can display images up to a maximum resolution of 1440x900 pixels.
The Dell screen has a brightness level of 300cd/m2 with a contrast ration of 1000:1.
This widescreen TFT monitor has a 5ms response time.
For comparison I paid £410 from Dell around xmas but didn't get a monitor and it was only 2GB RAM and smaller Hard Drive
Triple Clubcard points with all Dell Computing
Promotion ends: Wednesday 30 January 2008

Is this any good or can you get it cheaper at Dell?
At Xmas, I went for a version of this deal:
With some customisation and non-dell upgrades, I ended up with similar spec but 22" monitor, Vista Ultimate, and an ATI Radeon X1650 graphics card for £457

This is probably a decent deal, but what I'm suggesting is that when a good Dell deal comes along, nothing will beat it - and they are fairly regular.

Dell deal D015011 - the same but with a better processor (E6550). Cheaper @ £482 by using code VC6X4PMZH0LH9Q then £17 quidco.

Or £432 with 2GB RAM Which is a much better deal in my opinion.
Thanks will stick with Dell site.
Would not touch Tesco, bad for me, let me down several times. Don't like firms to be to big, it squeezes out the competition, allowing them to raise their prices. Tesco ain't cheap. Cheap selectively only, like most of these fools who say they are cheapest and compare a basket of goods obviously comparing the prices they have either reduced before the comparison or good they usually have cheaper. No disrespect to original poster.
Its less direct from dell! Only £454.01 if you want that spec. IMO the extra gig of ram is a waste. If you spec it up to over £499 you can use the 10% off code too.
You can spec the above one to quad core, 2gb ram, 500gb HD and 19" monitor with voucher code for £491.10+ quidco(£15.98)

Now thats a better deal.
Best off waiting for another Dell deal to come along I reckon. I bought almost exactly the same spec as this PC from Dell a few weeks ago (only difference being 2GB RAM rather than 3GB) - but with a widescreen 22" monitor, for £387delivered.........this seems overpriced in comparison IMHO.
I got the Vostro200 deal mentioned in the post above

E4500 CPU
500Gb HDD (WD500AAKS is the drive supplied in mine)
2Gb DDR2 667mhz memory
Vista Business
19in1 card reader
E228WFP Monitor
TS-H653B DVD +/- Rewriter
£399 delivered

Plus a bonus was I managed to get the Soundbar for the monitor off ebay for £17
Thanks for the comments guys.

I agree waiting for another good Dell deal to come around would be your best bet

You would think, all the gold would be on pages such as this that are five years old
