I think you can pick up something similar on the Dixons post earlier, around the £400 mark, but as these are refurbished, and the Dell new, then hot for me.

Very tempted!! Looking to buy two.

Anyone know whats the graphics card like? HDMI/VGA/DVI?

EDIT: I've been offered this deal with 8GB RAM for £474?? Worth it or not?

I really need to place an order for two PCs by the end of the week, am I looking in the right place?

But I could buy all the components and spend 4 hours building it myself and save £1.26.

There? Happy now? :p

4hrs?

You could build better for less but not everyone can or can be bothered. If you want a pre-made this is pretty good.

personally i'd wait for windows 7 to come out, and do you really need 8gb of ram?? you won't get to use your voucher or get quidco... graphics card is pretty budget tbh only costs £30

This is eligible for a free upgrade to Windows 7 when it comes out. Once you receive it, you can register the base unit's tag at win7.dell.com . For the release of Windows 7, you'll be notified by e-mail and will be able to place an "order" for the upgrade. You may need to pay a shipping charge but that should be neglible if you really just want to buy PC now.

Also, don't be fooled by the hype around Windows 7. It's just a new incarnation of Vista. Business users and netbooks have most of the issues with Windows Vista. For home users, it is better than Windows XP... it's just that it's different and easy to lose patience when you discover that they've moved stuff around and changed the way to do certain things. I find the new Start menu with the built in Search function to be a real boon.
