Low resolution for a monitor of this size - 1366 x 768. I would expect a minimum of 1440 x 900. My brother-in-law bought one of these. I think this is probably the worst monitor Dell have produced. The picture quality is OK for AV use, but as a general purpose pc monitor it sucks big time.

That is complete bs, maybe you should invest in a better graphics card.

This monitor came with my pc, and no, it's not a top grade monitor, and it's not a full 19" (Hence the 1366 x 768 res) but the picture quality is very good, and is awesome when running the xbox through the VGA.

I wouldn't knock this monitor at all, but I would recommend going for a larger one. This comes in the desktop packages at the moment, so be assured it's a nice monitor, but it'd be nicer if it was a bit bigger and had DVI :P

For those who want a smaller widescreen display, this is solid, with tilt adjust, but no height adjust so prop it up on a stand to make it look a lot better.

Hardly complete bs, a simple statement of facts. A better graphics card won't increase the resolution of the screen, which is my main complaint about this monitor. Perhaps you misconstrued my comments about it being Dell's worst monitor. What I really meant to express is that I can't understand why Dell would produce such a lo-res screen in 2009. I think it was a poor decision and doesn't serve their customers well. I own 2 Dell monitors and have used several more. I think they generally produce excellent monitors, but that they made a mistake with this one.

Your use with the xbox confirms my comment that it is OK (or better) for AV use.

In 2009 this is a low resolution monitor for pc use. I think some of your comments suggest that you agree.
