#4
yes it was cheaper last week, but it's still a cracking deal.
#5
They were offering an extra 10% off Mon and Tuesday, so it was £140...However, voted hot as still a great price.
#6

Still waiting for mine to come in but after discounts and quidco, i managed to bag mine for under £120 which was an absolute steal for a monitor of this quality!

Im voting this hot because even at a higher price, it is still an amazing deal. Get it while you can I say
#11
don't think quidco is 6% anymore...
#12
It's 4% for Dell Home products via Quidco on the ex VAT price, so £5.41.

Sorry to ask a silly question: can it be used as a TV, watching TV programmes and playing ps3 and other console games? Thanks.
#16
voted cold as this is no longer a bargain - was cheaper last week, so I assume it will be cheaper again in sales.
#17
BAH! Would love this, but go the Acer P223wd two weeks ago thanks to HUKD!

Oh Well!!!
#18
Only two things missing to make this the perfect monitor at a good price, 2ms G2G (grey to grey) & HDMI connectivity for hooking up your freeview digibox etc or Xbox/PS3

Voted hot, it's still a great deal and there's only a £10 difference between this and last week's price.

Only Full HD :(

Good price, these things dropped very quickly. I am happy with my Yuraku 24" TFT with a VA Panel at £200.

You can use HDMI > DVI and Component > DSUB (VGA) (option in the menu to switch "input color format" from "RGB" to YPbPr". (Works for PS3/360 etc too).

I bought two when they were £140 with 6% QuidCo to go either side of my 2405FPW. Got Sky HD running through the DSUB on the one and a non-Sky HD Sat receiver through DSUB on the other whilst running my main PC through all three.

tbh can we complain to dell? and get any free stuff?
#30
Like a previous poster has already mentioned, ignore the "estimated" delivery date. They always over-estimate.

I ordered my two when they were £140 and I was given 23/12 as the estimated date, they arrived on the 17th.
#31
Ordered mine last week for £140, but they've changed the est. delivery from 23/12/08 to 12/02/09. So don't expect to get it any time soon

Yes, it's a TN film panel.

I got mine yesterday. It's lovely quality, perfect for gaming and general office stuff. Obviously you'd look for a different panel type for pro graphics work, or if you were bothered about viewing angles.

There's 1x DSUB and 1x DVI. You can see both on the pictures on Dell's site.

There's an option in the menu to switch to YPbPr over DSUB (so you can use a component to DSUB cable).
