Highly rated 144Hz 1440p 27inch G-sync gaming monitor.

This is a TN monitor which has slightly washed out colours compared to its IPS alternatives but is much more responsive. The input lag and ghosting is minimal making it perfect for gaming, especially for FPS.

A G-sync enabled graphics cards is needed to experience the full benefits otherwise this is not the correct option for you.

With the low value pound this looks like one of the best deals at the moment for G-sync gaming.

Already ordered this earlier this week and there's a 3-5 day delivery option that is cheaper

dell have reasonable qc from what I hear so hopefully returning shouldn't be an issue. had this monitor before going ultrawide, great response times, fluid movement. look on overclockers.co.uk for customer reviews to find good profiles, when set up the colours are pretty good

Had this monitor for 48 hours it was very nice for a TN panel but i had to send it back as i had my Dell U2515H (IPS panel) sat next to it which blew it away for image quality. Please Dell make a GSync IPS monitor.

I love the fact that I posted this at under £400 from this same retailer and it went minus 53 degrees..

It'll be the late black friday / cyber monday / {insert new ridiculously named fad discount day} buyers thinking wow... a bargain!

I got this from Amazon about 6 months ago. It's a fantastic TN screen and doesn't suffer all the QC problems as other G-Sync monitors with similar resolution/refresh rate.

Don't worry about the retailers return policy. This monitor cones with Dell 3 year next business day warranty.

I actually picked mine up in a £99.84 Amazon mis-price but would have paid around £500 for it and would have been extremely happy.

Gameplay at 144hz is night and day compared to 60hz. If you don't have an Nvidia card and don't intend on using G-Sync then don't bother with this monitor as that's where about £200 of its value lies.

most gaming parts are considered overpriced and go cold anyway...look at any gsync monitor, mechanical keyboards, 10 series gpus etc

oO ho-lee-sheet

Dell warranty is great, but the reason I'm avoiding this is if it turns up and I just don't like it, this retailers policy looks like a difficult one to go through.... Also, I want one for £100 now :p

I found that post when searching for deals over the past few weeks.... it's absolutely gutting to have to pay an extra £100 six months later. This is the worst time to build a PC. I should've done it 6 months ago :(

I got my Asus 1070 a couple of weeks ago for £362 from a minus 50 deal (same kind of card for that price was scorching over Black Friday!?).

Keep posting bud and ignore the idiots.

Get it from Currys using vouchers/cashback and you might get the same price http://www.currys.co.uk/gbuk/computing/pc-monitors/pc-monitors/dell-s2716dg-quad-hd-27-led-monitor-10146509-pdt.html

sorry, just to rub it in :D
I would happily have paid £500
perhaps worth watching this through camelcamelcamel as Amazon stock seems to come and go. A quick search on HUKD shows Amazon have had a few pricing errors around £100-£200 on this monitor, but non since the deal I snapped up.

Brexit hasn't increased IT retail prices by 25 percent. The deal I posted was very competitive at the time never mind now..

In the end I actually bought a second hand Acer Xb270hu for £250 off ebay. Really pleased with it. Has pretty much all the plus points of the Dell but with an IPS panel which delivers lovely rich colours and contrast. Oh and no gammy dull anti scratch coating like on the Dell. Dell has a really clever bezel though. Appears almost bezel less.

has this gone back up in price ?
