Good price as has a webcam. I can't justify one at present but heat!

is that really a selling point? Can't you pick up webcams for virtually nothing these days if you want one?

Bought one of these last time they were on offer at around £170 I think it was about two months or so ago, top quality screen with nice crisp picture I don't use the webcam so can't comment on it.

Well worth the money.

You will struggle to find a better monitor for less than £300.

imo it is. True webcam's can be bought for pennies but they look ugly when not part of the screen. Plus means another cable to go into your computer.

This is a good quality screen and has an integrated webcam.

In my experience you still need to plug a USB cable from the monitor to the PC to get the integrated webcam to work. I can't tell from the Dell site whether it's required, but, the box does include a USB cable as standard....

You are correct mate. I meant that the cable is dangling from the top of the monitor.

I'm trying to justify buying this for myself but I sit quite close to my 15in laptop that I can't at present. There's a 24in Dell (lower resolution and no webcam) for £154 too.

My alternative is something that I would never buy (due to the price)

Samsung's version:-

http://www.amazon.co.uk/exec/obidos/ASIN/B001ILME90/interactiveda3092-21

No webcam or microphone but you do get a much nicer stand.
I wanted a high resolution monitor that could pivot to portrait and the Samsung was the best option I could find.

Can't see a reason why this is expired.
#10
How odd...why has this apparently expired?!

I believe the title was always the price including the Quidco cashback (which is a TopCashBack no no) .... it was 182ish on Dell yesterday when this deal was listed.

I am on my 2nd one of these the first sent back for backlight bleed and the second one has some but not as bad, I bought this and it was cheaper and the screen was better.

Overall I am happy with this mointor and if I got one with no backlight bleed I would be very happy to give it a 10/10

An image of the backlight bleed on both mointors can be viewed here for those intrested. The one the left is the 2nd one which I think is better.
