Just about to pull the trigger, why is everyone voting cold?!
#2
Some people just don't appreciate a good deal! I'm just about to do the same via quidco
#3
Looks like a possible choice for my Eyefinity setup!
#4
I would say this is a good deal as it has all these connectors (especially if you consider the quidco) as each of the HDMI and DVI-D connector is worth at least £5:-

High Definition Multimedia Interface (HDMI)
Digital Visual Interface - Digital (DVI-D) with High Definition Content Protection (HDCP)
Video Graphics Array (VGA)
#5
Yet still the votes are cold?
#6
I dont get it - can't the cold voters explain why as looks like a really good deal!
#7
Optimal Resolution:
1920 x 1080 at 60Hz

Superb deal for this price.
#8
well was enough to tempt me been waiting for a decent deal many thanks op!
#9
we just bought some Dell monitors for work (8 in total) and wished i saw this deal first. Ah well... all i can say it well worth it compared to what Dell already offers... even in the PC package.

Good find.

Hot.
#10
A significant portion of the voters here go with the leaders' opinions. If a few people on the first page say it is hot deal because of .. blah, blah....then the cold vote may get turned around, like this one had from negative to positive.

Whats the point of having HDMI if it has no speakers, also no standard wall mounting, good price if you dont need those things though.

using it for 360 with external speakers? computer? hdmi cables are half the size of dvi and vga cables so easier to stash away in my opinion, not to mention easier to swap over. can't say most would be fussed about the wall mount but considering its a decent reviewed, branded 22" monitor with multiple connections delivered (after quidco) for around the same price as most budget monitors (which often only have vga) its a steal

It has audio out so it gives flexibility on how you route your audio.

If you buy via the Business section you get another 20% off.

176400VNNPSCL?

though Quidco is reduced to 5% it's probably a worthwhile tradeoff.

go to the small business site instead via quidco, search for model number, apply code given, comes out at £117ish before quidco delivered
#17
Code doesn't seem to be working for me. Anyone else?

Edit - I take it back, just tried again and it worked. Strange.
#18
HDCP is a MASSIVE plus on this, monitors this cheap usually don't have.

Very tempted to get it.
#19
Thanks
#20
Ok been after a decent monitor for donkeys and this seems the biz with those connections....im struggling with the dell business thing though, can't even find the dell business site?
It comes up at £125 for me?

any clues
#21
Has it got speakers ?
If not, cold isn't surprising.
#22

What am i doing wrong?
#23
why are people fixaying on speakeers when you should be using a seperate set anyway.
#24
Works out at £117 on Dell Business site with the 20% discount.

I have tried almost every monitor with the 20% discount and they are consistently higher priced even after the discount than best price on google shopping.

Dell's business deal seems to be first add 30% then offer 20%.

You can save about £20 on the P2210H delivered £155. It's only claim to fame is Displayport for eyefinity in a 3 display configuration. Maybe the adjustable stand is worth something if you're all out of books to stand your monitors on.
#25
I can't get the 20% either:

* All online promotions are not cumulative with any other online promotions.

The monitor is already discounted 10% so it won't work. Maybe they've fixed it if some of you have been successful?
#26
Looks great... don't suppose its LED backlit is it?? the power consumption seems low enough but cant see it in the tech spec..

otherwise looking verrrry nice
#27
great deal - a 21.5" monitor i can play my ps3 on, thats all i need as ive got play tv so i don't need a tuner. Cheers

H + R added :)

20% off all Dell monitors

Expires 30 April 2010

* All online promotions only apply to a maximum order size of 5 products.
* All online promotions only apply to products sold separately (without a system).
* All online promotions are not cumulative with any other online promotions.
* All online promotions exclude Dell Consumables (ink, paper and toner).

It's already discounted so 20% code doesn't work :?
#29
Actually it does work. Just done it having said it didn't!

Go into the Dell SMALL BUSINESS site by clicking 'For Small and Medium Business'.

Then go to the search and search for st2210. It should bring it up without the 10%, so you can apply the code.

Good luck!

likewise, all the 22" i was looking at were at least £130 with dvi for a decent branded one, not overly fussed though. still think its a cracking spec for the price unless someone can show me better?

I wasn't one of those who voted cold but I was very tempted. Reason being; Dell has gone to the dogs! it's nowhere near the company it once was. Ordered my wee girl a laptop for xmas. So it'd arrive in plenty of time I placed the order online on the 20th Nov, now that's plenty of time you'd have thought. Well guess what? it didn't arrive on time despite claims to the contrary. It wasn't very nice having to explain to my daughter the reason why santa didn't arrive with that laptop she was looking.

Best of luck to those who wish to order from that company. Hope you've better luck at getting your product that I had - and I believe I'm not alone.
