Dell ST2220L 1080p HDMI 21.5 Inch Monitor £119.21 potentially £59.21 plus quidco @ Dell

Gooner77Gooner77

Dell are offering £60 trade in for your old monitor when you purchase the ST2220L monitor.

http://delltradetosave.com/en/trade-to-save/qualifying-products

I did this last year with the ST2220M and with the cashback deal it works out to be around £59.21 if you have an old working monitor lying around?

You can also pick up a cheap monitor on eBay and trade it in.

Also, last year I got around £8 quidco as well.

just been on the dell site and seeming age restrictions reply so probably not. Also you have to post your monitor to dell whixh is a bit of a pain if you have to cover the cost of the postage.

off to read the full terms and conditions :)

You pick your monitor, buy it and keep the receipt.

You lay your hands on an old monitor that works and is undamaged (fair wear and tear is OK) ship it to the address in the offer and, as long as you get the paperwork correct and submit within the timescale of 21 days from purchase, you will get the relevant amount of cash paid directly into your bank account PLUS an extra £10 to cover shiping and packing.

Know it sounds to good to be true but it really does work as I've been through this loop last time it appeared.

Oh and the monitors are excellent. :D

The Helper is talking through their bottom sphincter. Go here and then click on monitors. Find the monitor you want to buy and click on the picture and then follow my previous post above.

Yes it does, someone is telling porkies. I did it last year and Dell's site advertise that they do.

Hey, great find, but I cant find a list of qualifying manufacturer for the monitor as it states in the T&C's 'Functional monitors from manufacturers listed in the terms and conditions are accepted' I have an old Sharp 15" LCD.

Does anyone know whether this would be accepted please.

    Thanks.

I believe that list is for computer trade-ins. I think you can trade in any old monitor as long as it is working.

*Some traded in equipment is subject to conditions, including that it should be functional and undamaged (normal wear and tear is acceptable) with original power cables. Age restrictions apply to IT equipment traded in. Cash reward is payable as cash back further to submission of a claim in accordance with the promotion terms. Cash reward amount is determined per Qualifying Product model, as set out herein and subject to the promotion terms. This promotion and specifically the processing of traded in equipment and reward payment is managed by Opia . Please see terms and conditions for more information.

Can't find out what the age restrictions are though?

100% correct the list is for computers not monitors and says just that - For computer trade in’s to qualify for a full rebate it must be less than 5 years old, manufactured by a qualifying manufacturer and fully operational. - and the list of qualifying manufacturers is as listed. :)
