  Had loads of dell's twice i've had a problem within 48 hours had a tech out to repair the machine = excellent service try sony or hp your machine is away for a week or more.

  Ok, enough of the Laptop arguments. It says on the 14 days of deals page that it comes with a CORE 2 DUO PROCESSOR. Why am I not getting that when I proceed to customising my laptop?

  i review laptops as part of my job and this is a good deal, but it's duel core not core2duo, i agree that HP & Sony are good brands, but Dell are as good as them, i like Sony's but you often pay a high price and it comes littered with software that hampers start up time badly.
  
  also i would wait 3 weeks for the lauch of windows7 and get one pre loaded with that, Vista is done and dusted by this time next month and having to 'upgrade' apossed to clean install is a fail for me.

  dell are getting bad reviews atm for their CS i myself have been waiting over 5 weeks now for them to come and repair my laptop only to be told i got to wait another 2 months . Dell are not what they were a few years ago .
