why cold? did you notice GPU?
The CPU isn't the strongest though.. I haven't voted either way
I'm not voting but this is near enough its standard price.

I got this last year for the same price duped by their sale on it, but I've noticed since then they have had the same sale running pretty much continuously but slightly tweaked every now and again! I doubt its been sold at much more than £500 over the past 6 months at least.

Saying that, it is a very good laptop and I'm very happy with it. Brilliant build quality compared to the Acers etc. And it will play reasonably powerful games for a budget laptop (Burnout Paradise and Mirrors Edge are the only examples I have at the moment).
Cold - you can get the same laptop spec for £429 through this link:

- Simon.
cpu could be better but graphics is good for the price voted hot. edit just saw the previous post and that deal seems better. Anyone like to explain why the latter is cheaper?
Because Dell constantly adjust prices of various models... here is the link for the current Studio 15 models:

- Simon.
And don't forget the "dell studio dpc latency" problem (check the other dell studio threads, or google ) that causes these to have issues with higher end audio and video. There all good but a little crippled....!
