Good deal and have been looking at the Dell outlet for a while. but have been holding off as the descriptions rarely mention a wireless card. Are these standard so they dont mention them?

I bought mine and it wasn't mentioned but I got one with wireless N which was a £15 upgrade on dell.co.uk

But the b/g wireless is standard so you should at least get that.

Good price, if you after a cheap dell prob worth looking in pc world at any clearence items. Still very pleased with my bargain of a Dell studio laptop with same spec as above but with a blu-ray drive and an i5 processor for £599

It's all good and well, but you can't add any of them to your basket.

The RGB screens are awesome. I had the chance to buy an XPS 16 with Core i5 2.4 & RGB screen for just over £600 delivered. I passed in the end as I hate dedicated graphics card due to the extra heat and noise and lower battery life. If only they implemented switchable graphics I’d have bought it.

The same goes for the Studio 1558 which all have a Radeon GPUs and no switchable graphics. I’m sticking with my Studio 1555 which is much quieter as it uses integrated graphics.
I bought a very cheap Studio 1558 and swapped out the 9 cell battery, back-lit keyboard and beautiful custom colour lid with my 1555 and am very happy with it.

You can finally add these to your cart, but most of the good ones are going quick.
Once you add them to your cart you can see the processors on the ones that don't show them on the inventory screen.

I managed to get the following:

Studio xps 16 - i5-520m 2.4ghz; 6gb ram; 500gb 7200rpm hd; full hd wled screen; blu ray

Cost was £585 delivered. Don't know too much about these things, but I think it is quite a good deal. Any opinions?

That’s ridiculously cheap even by the Outlet’s standards. That was the one I had been eyeing for days not that I was actually going to buy it.
