ye dell ink is at silly prices

also new printers generally only give u trial ink cartridges which aren't maximum capacity, and refill kits for ink aren't that bad for price, bit messy at times!

secondly unless ur selling the printer on, its a lot of waste relly, if u dispose of the printer each time

but printer manufacturers are stupid, and really ought to reduce ink costs, we all know it can't be much considering the price of refill kits

It would be helpful for other readers not so informed as yourself if typical price of ink carts were mentioned in the deal description - there may be HUKD members looking for a printer deal who would be most upset to discover the cost of the ink for this Dell xx weeks after they had bought it, or even embarasment if they had bought it as a present for a relative / friend (enemy?).
Would equally apply to any printer deal, not just this one.
For the record, typical genuine ink cart costs for this Dell printer:
£42 a pair.
Possibly cheaper compatibles may be available, but difficult to locate easily.
For buyers not looking to heavily contribute to landfill but still looking for a printer deal with dirt cheap and readily available compatible cartridges, consider Epson opportunities like this recently expired £30 Epson all-in-one deal - compat carts via the well-known auction site are just over a fiver delivered.
