**Good condition, but may have light usage marks**

I think if/when I get another tablet, it will be a with a windows OS.
But I'll probably wait for w10 as it will have an actual start button, and swaps into desktop mode when you connect a keyboard.

MCS state that they are a trade seller which means that they are able to list their items ex. VAT. This would be illegal for sites that sell to consumers. To be fair though it does state in bright red at the top of the web page VAT Will Be Added At Checkout.

There is also a £9.95 delivery charge, making this £214.74 delivered.

Great machine this. I got from mine from MCS about 6 weeks ago. Very 'glitchy' out of the box but once you update all the drivers it runs perfectly. Wouldn't be without mine.

Yeah I know about startmenu8 and classicshell. But I also know how Windows 8/8.1 will occasionally still throw you into the clunky touch interface, even when you are in "desktop mode".
Hopefully w10 will allow a full desktop experience, not something half-a**ed that picks and chooses between interfaces.

What are the integrated graphics like in these compared to the Linx 10.1" with quad core atom, the same chip?
#21
I have the 5130 variant. The 7130 model has loads of issues. Nice spec, but I suggest staying away.....

This is a great little tablet(laptop for me as i got the keyboard also).

Be aware ----i3, i5 versions are a bit thicker and also have fans inside compared to the atom versions

Is no big difference in the processors speeds :

Got a Asus transformer T200 from Argos for £299.99 for my son for Christmas. Would this be better?

This is such a misleading comparison... The Atom Z3770 is decent but no match for any Core i series. This CPUBoss thing is just a chart with 'points' for things like number of cores, if you look at actual performance, the Core i3 batters it. The CPUs are most definitely not nearly the same.

Ugly design, average screen, poor audio...http://www.laptopmag.com/reviews/laptops/toshiba-portege-z10t
Tested at $1799 !.. there is always price taken in mind when running review - high price resulting in higher criticism

The Dell Venue Pro 11 has no such weaknesses, and is often available quite a bit cheaper too....

£202 2 months ago. Add a keyboard battery dock, and you'll have a 15 hour endurance machine with a great screen, keyboard, and pretty good speakers too...
Oh, and it looks like a normal laptop when docked, rather than that Z10T shocker :)

But that's also got a smaller screen, an i3 processor and will be noticeably slower... Plus it's Dell :/

What's a good keyboard for this tablet - Official Dell one ?
I got the official one from a company on ebay. Was about £67 which is a lot for a keyboard but the fact that it has a built in battery made the price seem Ok.

Occasionally had issues where the tablet hasn't been aware of the battery but I have found that detaching and re attaching has sorted it. Pleased overall.

Bought the stylus at the same time but have hardly used it.

Yes, updated the firmware Jan 2015 without any issues. Am now using the Dell keyboard with battery to use it like conventional laptop.

Its not great on a desktop but the prices seem low. Bit worried about the condition as the listings all say might have marks....
